T-Mobile was a magenta beacon of hope in a fairly dark landscape. It’s not Web3 and Metaverse like I thought it was going to be, but things rarely are. Over the years, I’ve made a home here filled with new and old friends. Plus, I get to be an art director again. It’s not really my job, but that’s never stopped me before.

“Before Darryl” is a common phrase after I’ve been somewhere for a while. It’s usually a compliment but I truly feel I’ve made an impact on the T-Mobile website. We’ve tidied up the UX and the design on most pages across the site to say the least.
Did I work on some of the befores? Yes, but I consider them leadership experiences versus the customer experiences we are creating now. Bless their hearts.

Subject Matter Expertise
It will be some time before humans are replaced around here but the entire advertising industry must be concerned as AI expands more and more into our Creative and other processes. Dashboards, social media, generative art, content management systems, large language models, research analysis, honestly it’s already everywhere.
So I’m putting my 30 years of professional experience and a lifetime of study into the academic research of Quantum Human-AI collaboration in creativity. And T-Mobile’s tuition assistance program is going to fund it. More or less…
